The Caminito del Rey: A Must-See Adventure
Located just 30 minutes from our B&B, the
Caminito del Rey is one of Spain’s most iconic hiking experiences. This spectacular walkway is built along the steep walls of the El Chorro gorge, with dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and unforgettable views.The route is around 7.5 km long and takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete. It’s suitable for most fitness levels and absolutely worth it.
Tip: Tickets must be booked in advance, especially in high season.
El Torcal & the Natural Beauty of Antequera
About 40 minutes from us lies El Torcal de Antequera, a UNESCO-listed nature reserve known for its unique limestone rock formations, some over 150 million years old. There are several well-marked walking trails (green, yellow, and red routes), ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 km, winding through surreal stone landscapes that feel almost otherworldly.
Beaches & Coast: Less Than an Hour Away
Craving the sea? The beaches of the Costa del Sol are less than an hour’s drive away. Enjoy a relaxed day by the Mediterranean in places like Torremolinos, La Cala de Mijas or El Palo, or stroll along Málaga’s buzzing seaside promenade with beach bars, seafood restaurants and palm-lined boulevards.
