Saline Swimming Pool

Our Country Hotel near Malaga, Andalucia has an exceptionally large Saline swimming pool (11.5m x 7m) with spectacular views where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, especially during the summer months when it is very hot and a serious chill-out is required!  This is ideal place for our guests to cool off during the summer months.

 

Our pool is Fully Licensed by "Junta de Andalucia", which monitors water and hygiene quality with rigorous daily, weekly and fortnightly tests.  These regulations are to protect the users against poorly maintained pools that can cause major health issues for bathers.

Media Room

Our Media room includes Freesat TV, "Home Cinema System" with True Surround Sound®, and free access to our library of DVDs suitable for all ages. In our Media Room we offer free Internet access via our Guests Computer, however if guests wish unrestricted internet access we can provide high-speed connection to their own laptop via wired connection. We also have an extensive range of games to keep both adults and the younger guests' entertained.

We provide free Wi-Fi access for our guests so you can connect your laptop or i-Phone to our broadband ADSL service. You also have free access using the PC in our Media and Games room.

Guest Lounge & Bar

The casitas are a few meters away from the main Cortijo building which is where guests take their meals. There are two adjoining lounges and our new Bar with comfortable sofas and chairs. These rooms are heated by a traditional wood-burning stove in winter. There is a good selection of books to provide you with ample reading material; there is also a selection of books and guides on Andalucia.

Gardens

Amid the arable and rugged landscape you will find an amazing oasis of colour, perfume, plants and bird life. Within our 6,000 square meters of landscaped gardens we have set aside many shaded areas for a restful read, a quiet drink, or a hideaway for a spot of birdwatching. These quiet areas enable you to observe the numerous Species of Birds that thrive amid this oasis in the Hills of Andalucia.

Additionally:

  • Our Bar area enables you to take your evening drinks in a cosy and warm atmosphere of a genuine Cortijo.
  • We have an outdoor honesty bar available throughout the year in order that you can enjoy a selection of drinks at any time.
  • We can arrange many activities including Golf, Guided Walks, Guided Quad-Bike Tours, Horse riding, Cycling Tour, Pottery Course, and City Tours.
  • Our Country Hotel is still a working farm, set amongst Andalucia's Rural Countryside within a peaceful valley.
